About Us

Established in 1976, Gowerton Dental Practice is dedicated to improving the dental health of all our patients. The Practice is owned by Richard Herbert and he and his dental colleague Richard Jones provide a wide range of preventative dental care.

Catering for all ages Our Hygienists are a vital part of our dental team. They will provide you with care and advice focused on the health of your gums. This allows you to minimise the risk of gum disease and improves the freshness of your mouth.

Adults are treated by private arrangement and most of our patients have chosen to receive their dental care through the Denplan care programme. This allows them to pay a regular monthly payment in return, for comprehensive preventative dental care and advice.

Children are currently treated under NHS regulations.

Orthodontic care is available to straighten teeth for children.

The Practice's firm commitment to training and personal development of the whole dental team has allowed us to develop and retain a highly trained and motivated team.

Richard Herbert is an Associate Dean in the Welsh Dental Post Graduate Department and the whole team are committed to continual, professional development. This helps us keep right up to date and as a result, we can give you the best and most appropriate advice and treatment options.
